George Rogers Clark confers with Native Americans



Colonel George Rogers Clark confers with Native Americans at Cahokia in the Illinois Territory. The group surrendered to Clark and his men in 1778, and Clark continued with his successful attempt to acquire, without conflict, immense tracts of land for the United States.
