John Giumarra comes to an agreement with the UFW

John Giumarra Jr., whose family owns the biggest table grape vineyard in the world, holds up the union label of the AFL-CIO United Farm Workers Organizing Committee. Its leader, César Chávez, and 17 growers shook hands over a contract giving workers a pay raise and freeing most of California table grapes from worldwide boycott in Delano, California, 1970.
