A Finnish ski patrol looks for an enemy detachment on the Petsamo front in northern Finland in 1940, during the Finnish-Soviet War. A direct result of the Nazi-Soviet Nonaggression Pact, the conflict, also known as the Winter War, lasted from November 1939 to March 1940.
